We are a leading company in the areas of Precision Medicine, Life Science and Healthcare. The company is looking for a candidate to fill up the Back-end Software Developer position in Sofia.

The Back-end software developer will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and efficient software solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features as well as participating in code and design reviews, developing and maintaining technical documentation, and troubleshooting and debugging applications.

Back-end Software Developer Qualifications include:

• Back-End Web Development in Java using Spring Boot
• Experience with database systems and SQL queries
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with healthtech or medical industries is a plus
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields preferred
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in software development
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have worked in multidisciplinary teams
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Willingness to adapt and learn new skills in a challenging and fast-paced work environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement new user interfaces and applications for the Danny platform
• Be involved in the design process from start to finish
• Technical support of delivery / production services
