OneUpOneDown transforms the mentorship landscape with its AI-driven, context-aware platform. This innovation provides dynamically tailored mentorship, matching women with mentors attuned to their evolving needs.

OneUpOneDown goes beyond being a mere matchmaking tool. It represents a comprehensive ecosystem designed to nurture transformative mentorship experiences. By integrating user profiles, mentorship guidelines, continuous feedback mechanisms, and iterative improvement tools, we create a vibrant mentorship environment that learns and evolves with its users.

The main goal is to deliver high-quality matches to users. The software provides an automated mentorship framework that engages users on a daily/weekly/monthly basis in-app and via emails.

We are looking for:

• Someone who has proven experience and passion for working with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and Docker containers, and building robust solutions to real-life problems.
• Work experience with DigitalOcean and GitLab CI/CD is an advantage.
• A person being able to communicate in Bulgarian and English.

As part of the core product team (5 people), you will be:

• Working with Python/Django/Postgresql on a daily basis.
• Creating well-structured code and improving existing complex web application.
• Creating a comprehensive documentation.
• Be pushed to learn new things, improve tech skills and share your ideas.
• Get bonus points if you find ways to work smarter and optimise things instead of working harder.
• Monitoring and improving backend performance.
• Building reusable components and backend libraries for future use.

You definitely won’t:

• Spend your day in boring and useless meetings.
• Support redundant browsers or legacy platforms.
• Be asked to constantly report your progress.

Recruitment process:

Our interview process has 5 simple steps and can be completed in 2 weeks:

1. Fit interview: 15 minutes
2. Tech exercise: 1 week to complete
3. Tech exercise debrief: 45 minutes
4. Final interview: 45 minutes
5. Offer with salary & equity proposal
