Job description

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute DevOps strategies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks;
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to provision and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure;
• Architect and deploy containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline application deployment and management;
• Design and implement robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure the health and performance of systems;
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and facilitate efficient and reliable software releases;
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime;
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development;
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to our infrastructure and processes;
• Contribute to the documentation of system architecture, processes, and operational procedures;

The main requirements are:

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker;
• Experience in CI/CD concepts and with tools;
• Experience with configuration management tools;
• Comfortable working with Git;
• Experience with Atlassian Software Development and Collaboration products (Jira, Confluence, Portfolio);
• Comfortable in scripting languages;
• Experience working with an Infrastructure-as-Code tool like Terraform;
• Strong system administration background for Linux based systems;
• Comfortable with networking fundamentals like Firewalls, Subnetting, Route tables etc.;
• Implemented and maintained DevOps and/or CM tools in small to medium sized development team ;
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Icinga, etc.
• Experience with logging tools such as ELK/EFK stack or similar;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure ;
• To freely communicate in English – both written and spoken;
