Devops Engineer

Areas of Responsibility

• Participate in the development and deployment of Kubernetes and Openshift technologies, integrating them with existing infrastructures and services. Ensure correct usage within projects.
• Good interactions & communications between internal stakeholders:
  • Marketing (Product Manager) to gather appropriate information for systems and services development.
  • Procurement team for technical support in contract management
  • Security (certificate, access, actions at risk, correct and safe behavior in all circumstances)
  • Other value streams & Service Delivery Management
  • The team provides technical guidance ensuring coherence in approach and design across project and technical domain and/or platforms. Provides the necessary required business context in relation to technical evolutions and implementation projects
  • Customer Service Operations (guidelines, trainings)
• Document activities/decisions, create how-to guides, and train/help team members in Kubernetes and/or Openshift
• Participate in a guard role approximately one week per month
• Manage day-to-day operations and contribute to vendor governance review meetings concerning Kubernetes and Openshift platforms. Lead or contribute to RFI and RFP documents and vendor selection processes, ensuring security aspects are covered
• Manage interaction with external stakeholders, ensuring projects and incidents are correctly followed up
• Keep customers informed about incident resolution progress and maintain alignment among internal stakeholders on customer impact
• Perform ticket and Jira task creations and follow-ups for project delivery and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in ICT with Certification in Kubernetes or Openshift.
• At least 4 years of specific experience in Kubernetes and Openshift, with an overall senior-level experience in DevOps
• Have production level with Kubernetes and Openshift
• Be proficient with monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, etc
• Experience in CI/CD (preferably: GitLab)
• Experience with Linux system administration, and/or Enterprise applications
• Experience in automation, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience in complex infrastructure with multiple clusters (physical and virtual servers but also on cloud)

Will be an advantage

• Experience in SR-IOV
• Experience in Authentication Protocols, Identity and Access Management Systems and Key Management Systems, such as Keycloak / free IPA / LDAP / SSO
