Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage, and automotive applications.

Introduction

For this role your responsibilities will primarily include managing customer chip design GDS data transfer (Tapeout) to GF, ensuring timely and error free Tapeout operation.

Your job

• Serve as technical support interface to customer and coordinate technical interaction.
• Train and support customers in using GF self-service online systems for preparing customer chip design GDS data transfer (Tapeout).
• Manage chip design GDS data transfer (Tapeout) process with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and error free Tapeout operation.
• Communicate proactively with customers in case of missing / unclear information from customer.
• Ability to handle multiple customers & projects in parallel.
• Manage Tapeout project deadlines for all supported customers and alert / remind customers to avoid deadlines getting overrun. Escalate to group manager if situation risks becoming critical.
• Proactively support GF system improvements by identifying weaknesses & proposing solutions.
• Build relationships with key customers to ensure good interaction and communication.
• Ensure that issues/ obstacles/ questions to a Tapeout get resolved, directly or if required, by engaging internal experts.
• Overcome internal system/communication limitations through persistency, identifying and driving towards applicable solution.

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering
• Program management skills and experience are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and strong team aptitude.
• Excellent English language skill.

Preferred Qualifications  

• Customer facing and Technical Sales experience.
• Experience in Semiconductors (Technology or Design).
• Exposure and competence in design environment/ enablement flows and tools is an advantage.
• Dedication to excellent customer service and ambition to execute tasks without error.
