Our Design and Technology Enablement teams are working on the development of a broad portfolio of semiconductor technologies ranging from 350 nm down to 12nm including FD-SOI, RF, High-Voltage and automotive applications.

Your Job 

You will be responsible for the creation of Design Methodology solutions for a wide variety of Technology nodes focused on the silicon technologies.

• Create design methodology solutions for a wide variety of Technology nodes
• Develop digital design enablement collateral to help the Company’s customers adopt the most advanced silicon technologies
• Generate design margins through spice simulations and standard cells characterization
• Develop methodology guidelines and techniques for design of circuits in various domains, e.g. digital, analog, RF, photonic, MMW
• Write scripts to parse reports, create CSV files and update database tables
• Apply machine learning techniques to predict various design outcomes using the data in the database
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed

Required Qualifications    

• Bachelor`s Technical Degree (Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Informatics or similar) is required (BS + 0-2 years of experience or MS + 0-2 years)
• Has a good overview understanding of VLSI design and manufacturing processes
• Solid understanding in digital electronics or analog circuit design
• Understanding of or expertise in Verilog RTL, Synthesis, Auto place and Route
• Possess knowledge of Unix/Linux operating system and Shell scripting
• Exposure to programming languages like C/C++, Java, Python
• Fluent verbal and written English

Preferred Qualifications  

• Overview of schematic capture, SPICE simulation, circuit analysis is a plus
• Experience in using standard EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics is a plus
• Understanding of Process Design Kits (PDK)
• Understanding of Machine learning concepts
