Requirements Engineer

Position for one of the biggest tour operators in Europe DER Touristik as part of DER Touristik Online Bulgaria.

Role: Requirements Engineer

Project: Customer Facing Applications

What you will do:

• Be actively involved in every step of the product development lifecycle.
• Be part of a cross-functional agile team responsible for core domains of our platform.
• Organise and moderate product development meetings.
• Take governance of the product documentation and keep track of relevancy.
• Customer-centric and data-driven development of your products in close cooperation with stakeholders, logistics, UX and business specialists.
• Prioritisation of your product backlog as well as definition of future goals of your domain.
• Planning, Coordination and Implementation of value-based increments together with your team, architects and other teams.

What we are looking for:

• You have experience in product management – in tourism, e-commerce, logistics.
• You have advanced professional competence in software development with a track record of production products.
• The role incorporates business analysis and project management.
• Open proactive and driven approach to software development.
• You have a strong background in agile/lean methods.
• +3 years of experience.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong experience with collaboration platforms Jira / Confluence and knowledge of building effective flows.
• You use your creativity and focus to deliver pragmatic solutions for users.

Any of the following is a plus:

• Agile certifications in Project management, PSPO or CPO would be a plus.
• You have an academic degree or equivalent education, preferably in Computer Science, the Social Sciences or Economics.
• Fluent German.
• Software development background.
