Playtech’s BI unit is looking for a proactive Data Scientist adept at developing end-to-end production data science applications in Python.

Job Description

Your influential mission. You will…

• Design and develop new AI services from scratch
• Maintain and enhance current data science pipelines in complex high-load applications
• Closely cooperate with R&D and DevOps teams
• Research, invent and adapt machine learning algorithms for dedicated business needs
• Perform predictive and statistical modelling
• Perform ad-hoc analyses as required

Qualifications

Components for success. You have…

• Proven experience of 4 years as a Python developer (PyCharm, git, debugging)
• Proven experience of 3 years in predictive modeling, preferably in data science production services
• A minimum of 3 years of tabular or time series data analysis as data developer, data scientist or data analyst
• Strong team player mentality, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in remote environments
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and visualization
• High level of English proficiency
• BS in EconomicsMathematicsStatistics

Additional Information

BI UNIT

Playtech BI team is responsible for collecting, organizing, presenting & utilizing data across all Playtech products and services. Currently, the team is expanding and comprises more than 20 developers, data scientists and data engineers.

BI in Playtech is offered as a product alongside its casino, poker, and other gaming offerings to licensees.

The data science team consists of 10 data scientists who operate similarly to a regular development team. The team develops AI systems such as personalized recommendations, player risk detection, churn detection, and more. These models control every major aspect of the player user experience.
