Support Developer/DevOps

Unicard is a leading UK provider of transport ticketing solutions, which we provide to local authority transport departments and transport operators. As a small / medium-sized enterprise we pride ourselves on outstanding products, technical support and customer service.

We work in partnership with exciting companies such as ITSO, Google and Idemia to retail and fulfil tickets to smartphones and cards.

Due to our constant expansion and new product investments, we are recruiting a new Support Developer/DevOps who will work with our R&D team based in Varna.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyses and eliminates potential problems during the development stage.
• Support release manager to build, packages, versions and releases.
• Develop software solutions, database models and scripts.
• Records, prioritizes and escalates incidents and problems
• Investigates technical incidents and ensure third level of support for incident management to the production teams.
• Manages unresolved issues
• Provides management with up-to-date information on the progress of problems
• Participates in the acceptance tests of products and services.
• Prepares documentation for the conducted tests.
• Reports test results.
• Ensure security requirements alignment within applications.
• Manage source code within the system.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Knowledge and work experience with SQL (2+ years)
• Work experience with Linux platforms
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), preferably Java,.NET, C++
• Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, SSL)
• Keeping up with deadlines.
• Good Knowledge of English
• Works collaboratively with others
• Seeks opportunities to learn and develop

Would be consider as a strong advantage:

• Experience with object-oriented programming
• Understanding the security standards for the development of internet applications is considered an advantage.
• Experience with test and debug client code
