We are looking for the right person for the following position: Automation QA Engineer (Java)

You will develop, maintain and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. Ultimately, you would monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions and meet quality standards.

This is what you will be dealing with, if you join us:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Monitor automated regression testing and perform manual testing when needed
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify and clarify system requirements
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Required Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience within the software quality assurance field
• At least 3 years of experience with test automation, preferably using Java & RestAssured
• Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (ex. experience with JIRA, Confluence or similar; TCMS like Zephyr or similar; Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD or similar; QA in terms of Scrum or Kanban process)
• Good understanding of OOP principles and best practices
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience with testing REST APIs
• Strong communication and business relationship skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• To be proactive and motivated for self-improvement
• Very good level of English

Stand out with experience in/knowledge of:

• Automation test implementation with Java, RestAssured, Selenide
• Performance and/or security testing
• Payments domain
