Business Data Analyst (m/f/d)

**This position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria or Skopje, Macedonia with hybrid or remote working options. Applicants must have a work/residence permit for the respective location.**

The firm’s physically based renderer, V-Ray®, has been honored with both an Academy Award® and an Engineering Emmy® for its role in the widespread adoption of ray-traced rendering in motion pictures and television.

In 2022, Chaos merged with Enscape, a leading provider of real-time rendering and design workflow technology for the AEC industry. Enscape offers innovative solutions that connect directly into modeling software, integrating design and visualization workflows seamlessly into one. Together, the newly combined company is creating an end-to-end ecosystem of 3D visualization tools accessible to everyone.

We are now looking for a Business Data Analyst who will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide insights that drive business decisions and improve overall performance by creating reports and delivering ad-hoc analysis to stakeholders. The Business Data Analyst will be working closely with different areas of the business to inform decision-making, drive growth, and improve efficiency within the organization.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Collecting data: You will be providing data from various sources to stakeholders based on requirements.
• Analyzing data: You will be responsible for cleaning, transforming, and analyzing data to identify patterns, trends, and insights.
• Delivering business insights: Based on your analysis, you will create reports that summarize your findings clearly and concisely.
• Reporting Design Modeling: Participate in designing and developing Business Intelligence platforms and reporting.
• Collaborating with other teams: You will need to collaborate with other teams, such as marketing, sales, finance, operations, and product, to understand their data needs and provide them with insights.
• Identify system and process improvement opportunities: Communicate details and collaborate with the Business Analysis team to design solutions on a pro-active, self-directed basis.
• Change management: Be an agent of change, ability to initiate and adapt to change. You should provide solutions to address business transformation, strategic alignment, technology implementation and culture change. Incorporate risk mitigation planning/execution.
• Staying up to date with industry trends: You will need to stay up to date with industry trends and developments in data analysis techniques to ensure that your analysis is accurate and relevant.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or relevant.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.

• Experience and/or certifications with PowerBI.
• Advanced data modelling and analytical skills with the help of SQL, Python, etc.

Key technical skills:

• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience with relational databases.

• Attention to detail: You must be meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring your analysis is accurate and error-free. You should have a strong quality assurance mindset and be able to identify and correct data inconsistencies.
• Problem-solving skills: You should be able to identify and solve problems related to data quality, data integration, and data analysis. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively to find solutions.
