    Mission of the Role:

    Organize, lead, and coordinate the associated engineering activities during the development and the delivery phases of Visteon products, in line with the agreed Cost, Quality and Timing commitments.

    Key Objectives of this Role: 

    • Manage a team of Mechanical engineers, developing electronics products for Visteon’s European automotive customers;
    • Responsible for the team performance in terms of quality and cost;
    • Project reviews;
    • Goal setting and performance management;
    • Skill assessment and Development of the team;
    • Technical guidance and mentoring;
    • Forecasting and budget tracking of the ME activities;
    • Process improvement initiatives;
    • Metrics tracking and reporting.

    Qualification, Experience and Skills: 

    • Master’s degree in the field of mechanical engineering or similar;
    • Strong technical background in mechanical engineering of electronics products – automotive or consumer;
    • Good knowledge in 3D CAD software;
    • GD&T and drawing creation knowledge;
    • Experience in development of Electrification products will be considered as plus;
    • Experience in a people management role for at least 3 years;
    • Fluent verbal and written English.
